Meet Our Director
Deborah Brown
Deborah Brown is the Director for Bright Ideas Enrichment Center-Midlothian (previously Midlothian Children's Academy). She manages the various daily operations such as staffing, training, and licensing. Deborah has extensive knowledge of the childcare business and a devotion to giving children a loving, nurturing environment.
Deborah’s journey into early childhood education began in 1996 as a lead infant educator at a local daycare. She was soon promoted to other duties such as supervisor and became the Assistant Director in 1998. One year later, Deborah became the Director of the facility which provided childcare to 165 children of various ages.
In 2002, Deborah began laying the groundwork for what would become Midlothian Childcare Academy. Deborah oversaw every detail, from selection of the location to the type and color of furniture. She even navigated the complex social service and tax requirements that give headaches to many seasoned administrators. Deborah’s dream was realized with the grand opening in May 2004. Deborah’s tireless worth ethic and commitment have made Bright Ideas Enrichment Center-Midlothian one of the most respected child development centers in the area.
